Jordan 1 Retro OG “Court Purple”

An OG makeover. I’ll admit, Jordan brand has exhausted us with frequent edits of the beloved Jordan 1. They’ve been pretty experimental lately so it’s a breath of fresh air to see them return back to the OG way of doing things. Well.. somewhat OG.

The “Court Purple” AJ1 gets a modern update and it doesn’t disappoint. The most significant update is the welcoming of a white toe box and white tongue. I really enjoy this edit over the black version that was featured in the 2018 release. It’s wild how a subtle change like that can really brighten the shoe. If there was one thing I’d change it would be swapping the black laces out for all white laces. But that’s it. The fit and comfort is retro approved and the color pops. Y’all know I love a statement on my feet.

Unlike the “Pine Green” release, don’t expect these to be overstocked. I don’t make a review for a sneaker I don’t have or wouldn’t wear so definitely cop these if you have the chance. Price is back to normal and will be available on April 11 for $170.
